About the Neighborhood
Located just a couple of miles from the city of Decatur and the prestigious Emory University and CDC, Medlock Park is a popular place to live due to its convenient location. It is a great place to live near the city without having long commutes.
The neighborhood has a strong sense of community and residents are very active in promoting events and activities that bring everyone together. There are several pools, a playground, and a tennis court in the neighborhood park, which is always busy with kids and adults alike. There is a popular forested boardwalk that winds through the trees and along the creek next to the park that leads to numerous walking trails and connects with the PATH, enjoyed by walkers, runners and bikers alike.
In addition, the neighborhood is right next door to the I-285 beltway, which allows easy access to all parts of Atlanta without being too far from the green spaces, walking trails, and bike paths that are available in the city’s many park
